So they say, when in Asia, the way to go for fun, local, affordable eats is street food. But they also say that when in Asia, do not drink anything that's not from a bottle/can, and don't eat any fresh produce that can't be peeled. Sadly, street food in Vietnam was mostly Bahn Mi (roll with fresh veggies) and cooked stick meats. So Bahn Mi, according to what "they" say was out, and the "cooked meats" were generally cooked on the ground on the sidewalk (street food, indeed) and beyond our threshold of daring.
However, we found a fresh baked bun stand with sweet buns that were super fresh, super delicious, super cheap, and qualified as street food, I think.
